Long Rapids Park is located on the west side of M-65 north just south of the bridge with a beautiful access to the Thunder Bay River. The township recently received a grant to install a handicap accessible canoe/kayak launch and a spacious fishing/viewing platform. The parking lot has been expanded with paved walkway to the launch. A park port-potty is available for visitors. Future plans include adding a pavilion for visitors as well.
